Hiking in Val Gardena/Gröden |
| |
South Tyrol owns almost 20,000 kilometres of official hiking paths. More than thousand kilometres of these well-marked paths lead into the direct surrounding of the Val Gardena/Gröden. They take you to alpine huts, to peaks and amazing vantage points. Val Gardena/Gröden is simply a hiking paradise. Old and young, kids and grown-ups will find numerous possibilities to spend a wonderful hiking holiday in the Dolomites.
2009 a part of the Dolomites was declared World Heritage-Nature Site by the UNESCO. A wonderful distinction for one of the most beautiful and charming areas world-wide. The area between the Puez-Geisler group and the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, between the Sassolungo/Langkofel and the Sciliar/Schlern, between the Sella and Stevia offer plenty to observe and to admire. |
