| |
The ski area in Val Gardena/Gröden is one of the most beautiful and attractive in the world. This is not some publicity slogan invented by the locals, but a fact that numerous international awards and prizes given by international critics, by magazines and internet parlours prove. The ski area of Val Gardena/Gröden with the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Seceda and Dantercepies, is embedded in the fascinating landscape of the Dolomites with direct views on parts of the World Nature Heritage of the Dolomites. The Sassolungo/Langkofel and the Gruppo Sella/Sellagruppe, the Odle/Geislerspitzen, but also the Marmolada dominate the scenery in an impressive way.
Skiing in Val Gardena/Gröden also stands for fantastically prepared slopes, 450 lifts and a total of 1,200 kilometres of slopes in the
| Dolomiti Superski circuit. Traditional huts and an impressive culinary offer which ranges from fish specialities in 2,000 metres height to culinary highlights and the ever-present “Wuerstel” (sausage) with French fries. |
